The Wolf Among Us is a video game developed by Telltale Games for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It is based on Bill Willingham’s comic book series Fables, which is set in a universe populated by fairy tale characters who have been exiled from their homeland and are now living in secret in our world.
The protagonist of The Wolf Among Us is Bigby Wolf, better known as the Big Bad Wolf of the fairy tale world. He has been tasked with protecting the secret of Fabletown, a hidden community of Fables living in New York City. He adopts a human form to blend in and begins a life of investigating the mysterious disappearances of Fables that have been occurring in the city.
Throughout the game, the player will take control of Bigby and explore the world around him. Players will be able to interact with the various characters in the game to uncover clues and solve puzzles in order to progress the story. Players will also be able to make choices which will effect how the story unfolds as well as determine Bigby’s relationships with the other characters.
The game uses a combination of a point-and-click adventure game style combined with role-playing elements. The visuals of The Wolf Among Us are highly stylized and use a striking comic book style. The soundtrack is also well done, featuring a mix of music from different genres.
