Dishonored 2

is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the sequel to the 2012 game Dishonored, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 11 November 2016.

The game takes place in the fictional city of Karnaca, a coastal city in the kingdom of Serkonos. Players assume the roles of either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, both of whom are supernatural assassins with their own unique set of powers, gadgets, and weapons. The game is set fifteen years after the events of Dishonored; while Corvo seeks to restore Emily to her throne, Emily seeks to discover who conspired against her and why.

Dishonored 2 introduces Emily and Corvo as fully playable characters, with their own styles of play. Both feature different powers and abilities, which can be upgraded throughout the game. There are also a variety of gadgets and weapons, including crossbows, pistols, grenades, and swords. These can be used to both attack enemies and complete objectives. Players can choose to play the game in either a first-person or third-person perspective, and can use stealth and combat to complete objectives.
